About me

My name is Samiu Saliou, and I’m a German-Ghanaian actor based in Berlin. I trained at the Internationale Akademie für Filmschauspiel and continued to refine my craft at the Berlin Acting Studio and the Chubbuck Studio Cologne.

In recent years, I’ve appeared in various film, TV, and stage productions. My recent credits include the ARD series Schwarze Früchte (premiered at the Tribeca Festival 2024), the ARTE miniseries Der Informant, and a recurring role in the award-winning drama Asbest. On stage, I was part of the politically engaged production Die 60 Sklavinnen der Familie Kiez with Berliner Compagnie.

I’m currently represented by Red Carpet Actors. My agent, Annett Schlange, supports me in taking on challenging roles and contributing to stories that matter.
