Philippe André Ledun was born and raised in Graz, Austria, and studied acting at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt am Main. As the son of a French clown, he spent part of his youth in the circus and variety theatre and began experimenting with magic and artistry at an early age.

From 2019-2024, he was a permanent ensemble member at the Rheinisches Landestheater Neuss and worked with Caroline Stolz, Boris Motzki, Philipp Moschitz, Marlene Anna Schäfer, Maik Priebe, Susanne Weber and Ekat Cordes, among others. During his studies, he already appeared at Schauspiel Frankfurt in ‘Tintenherz’ and ‘Die Zertrennlichen’ and was a guest performer at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden in 'Der fröhliche Weinberg'.

In 2018, he was honoured at the 29th Federal Competition for German-Speaking Drama Students for his role as Purl in ‘Einige Nachrichten an das All’ and received the sponsorship award for young acting students at the University of Music and Performing Arts, donated by Walter H. Krämer. In 2022, he was honoured with the sponsorship award of the Rheinisches Landestheater Neuss.
